I start off by taking 2 boneless pieces of chicken breast and marinate it in lemon pepper sauce for about 1hr, then, heat the stove top to medium temperature so the chicken can slow cook and cook thoroughly. Then put plenty of extra virgin olive-oil in a pan, the reason for this is to cook the chicken evenly so there are no uneven cooking or raw spots on the meat. Then liberally throw allot of garlic powder and spread it all over the chicken.
After flipping it a few times and cutting it to make sure the meet was cooked all the way through, I took the meat out of the pan and started cutting it into decent bite sized pieces because when the meal is done i like to taste more of the chicken then the Egg noodles or Alfredo sauce. The tangy flavorfulness of the chicken should not be compromised in anyway, its the heart of the meal.
Now that the hard part is done, I just simply put a pound of egg noodles in boiling hot water for 6-8 minutes until the noodles are firm enough to keep their shape, but not soft enough to turn into mush. The only way know when the noodles are ready is to constantly observe them. When ready, drain the water out using a strainer and shake all the moisture and put i light coating of butter on the egg noodles to ensure they don't stick to the pan or plate and stay loose. Then mix in the cut up chicken with the noodles and mix it up like a salad in a large bowl and add decent amount of Alfredo sauce to add a little more flavor to the meal. Takes practice to do everything right, i don't want to drown the taste of the chicken with sauce or over cook the noodles, its a compilation of several aspects that have to go right. I basically tough myself how to do this so its fairly easy to make, and didn't take much time either. The reason i would want you to eat this is because its a simple concept, and most importantly it wasn't mass-produced by a fast food chain.
